Remember that MARSOC Company that got kicked out of Afghanistan last year?  That Strategic Reconaissance asset would have been just the back up SEAL’s would need in Waziristan.  They were non-kinetically killed by  a complex VBIED/SAF ambush that quickly got politicized by indigenous Associated Press stringers and “human rights” activists and the Army CG wasted no time throwing these Marines under the bus.

Apparently the collateral damage made Karzai very mad. By all accounts they were killing lots of bad guys and were very successful.”

This is a story that bears watching.  There is a pattern developing here, and with the Haditha Marines, and Blackwater.  The enemy is  reducing our kinetic combat power through Information Operations, Military Deception, Propaganda and hoax
